A New Addition
We also would like to introduce our newest member of the LPW team, our program supervisor Kendra Bitzig. Kendra comes to us from Spokane Washington, where she was the Pre K lead teacher for Green Gables children's learning center. Kendra has been in the Child Care field for 7 yrs and is excited to bring her experience and expertise to the team!

Spring Planting
In celebration of spring Seattle LPW will be planting new flowers the week of 5/7-5/21! We will be enlisting the help of our kids to contribute to the beautification of our Center, while also teach them the Joys of gardening!

Thank you Boeing & Child Project
The Kirkland and Bellevue centers are currently participating in a program called "Social and Emotional" Boeing project .Our directors and staff are participating in trainings and meetings with Childcare Resources. The primary focus of this Program is the "Social and Emotional" aspect of providing care to all diverse families. Their goal and ours for this project is for childcare centers not to be looked at as "just" providers but also as a comfortable resources for families to go to when they may be in need. This opportunity gave Lil' People's World more resources to provide both the children and parent's with more educational literacy resources and DVD's, as well as new supplies and equipment to enhance our children's learning and development.

Congratulations to Bobbie Bender
The new Director of Seattle Lil' People's World. Bobbie has been with Lil' People's world for 2 1/2 years and has brought her charisma and enthusiasm to the center each day. If you haven't met her already feel free to stop by her office and say HI!
